Hey Everybody!!!

Thank you to everyone who has picked up your copy of "Songs From My Breakup" either from Itunes or one of my retailers who are selling pre-release copies the old school way - outta the trunk of the car! I'm so glad I finally get the opportunity to share my music with you all!!!! It's definitely been a long time coming.....

So today is a milestone mark for me. Today, is the 100 day mark. In 100 days I will be on a plane heading back to the USA and starting a new journey in my life. For two years I've been in Osaka, Japan singing my little heart out in the humid, crazy-hot, bug infested summers and chilly winters. Enjoying and loving every minute of getting to know a new culture, making new friends and cultivation old friendships, learning the language and just having a ball! I have been so fortunate to have the time I've had here and although I'm not leaving tomorrow, knowing that there are only 100 days left makes the end seem very real for me right now. It's kinda bittersweet. I will miss it, I'm sure of that. But, right now, I miss home. I miss my Mommie and all of my family and friends. I miss my favorite foods and they way you can substitute almost anything anywhere and take everything to-go. I miss the beach being so close. I miss 60 degrees feeling cold and my press lasting in the summer time because it's dry heat (no humidity). :) No matter what I know that everything I do has a purpose and I am walking toward my destiny every single day I take a breath.... I am living part of my destiny now! So I am sure I'll be fine... I will come back to visit. Osaka has been mighty good to me! :) I've met some of the best people here! Friendships that I know will last a lifetime have been formed. I've learned a lot about myself and have grown as a person as well as a performer. I hope to keep growing more and more everyday. But for now I'm counting down by giving a highlight to each day of the 100 days I have left. Here is today's:

I was in a silly mood pretty much all day! I have no idea why. Maybe it's the moon. It was a really long day and we had rehearsal tonight for this show we're doing. One of the guys here put together a group of girls to sing for a charity benefiting single mothers here in Japan. We are all singing the song "Stand Up" that was originally performed by a slough of pop greats for cancer research, I think (if I'm wrong, let me know). Anyway, it's a large group of female singers and I just really enjoyed the time of everyone sharing their talents and acting a fool along with me in my silly stupor! :p I had a blast and can't wait until the event to rock it out with these ladies. They're all so wonderful! But then again, so are you! ;)

Love,
La Niece :D
